VCMN
Association Clinque Médicale Niger
Giving hope. Saving lives.
The association supports the Clinique Médicale Douguidi in Niamey, Niger (West Africa). The clinic has a clear mission: “To see everyone freed from their physical and mental suffering, regardless of their origin, ethnicity, religion or social status”. It offers holistic healthcare for people living in extreme poverty, taking into account body, mind and soul. Many patients are refugees, traumatized, seriously ill and destitute. The clinic is often their only hope. By collecting donations with the association, we can provide the Clinique Médical with the necessary financial resources to help on the ground.

Founders / Members

Brigitte Pini
President
Brigitte lived and worked in Niger for over 20 years and has known Dr. David Bori since his youth. Coming from a modest family, David is the eldest of eight children and the only son. As there was no secondary school in his home town of Makalondi, he lived with Brigitte in the capital for several years to continue his education. As the best student, he received a scholarship to study medicine in Cuba, which he graduated at the top of his class in 2022. Since his return to Niger, Brigitte has actively supported him in realizing his vision – her experience and network are a great asset to the association.

Alfred Müller
Chief Financial Officer
He is a trustee with his own company and a long-standing supporter of Brigitte during her years in Niger. He is responsible for bookkeeping, donation management and contact with the authorities and supporters, which is a great benefit for the association.

Caroline Screnci
Actuary
She is a pianist with heart and dedication. She joined the association in 2023 through mutual acquaintances and provides support not only organizationally, but also musically at benefit concerts and contributes many good ideas. She has already gained a lot of experience with another organization, which is very helpful for the association.

Leo Screnci
Auditor
Leo works in the banking sector and, like his wife, supports the association with his invaluable skills.

Musicians / Trio Margretto
Maria Hartinger / Greta Knoll / Ortrud Wiewinner
The association also includes a group of professional musicians who lend their skills to benefit concerts and have made a significant contribution to financing the clinic.
